What are the technical requirements to run ReadingDoctor Online?

Modified on Thu, 20 Aug at 9:45 PM

To run ReadingDoctor® Online, these are the recommended technical requirements:

  • Devices: desktop or laptop (PC, Mac, Chromebook), and/or iPad.
  • iPad access: use the ReadingDoctor® Online iPad app from the App Store. For school use, access is included with your ReadingDoctor® Online school subscription or trial (no separate per-student app purchase).
  • Browser access (desktop/laptop): use a current version of Chrome (recommended), or another modern browser.
  • Internet: reliable internet connection is required.
  • Audio: speakers or headphones are required, as activities include speech sounds and audio prompts.
  • Login URLs:
    Student and Educator activities: https://login.readingdoctor.com
    Dashboard (admin and reporting): https://dashboard.readingdoctor.com
  • School network filtering: if your school uses firewall or content filtering, allow access to *.readingdoctor.com (including login, dashboard, and game delivery domains) to avoid connection issues.
  • Managed iPads (MDM/VPP): deploy the app as a managed app with device-based assignment where possible, then students log in with their normal ReadingDoctor® Online credentials.

If useful, we can also provide a short IT checklist for your school team (network allowlist, iPad deployment checks, and first-login test steps).
