ReadingDoctor® Online is the full subscription program used by schools and families. It is cloud-based, requires an internet connection, and includes an automated, structured synthetic phonics sequence. Students work through activities using their own login details, while parents and teachers can view progress through the Dashboard.
The older ReadingDoctor® apps are separate, standalone iPad apps. They run directly on the iPad, do not require an internet connection, use manual activity selection, and do not collect student progress data in the same way.
In short:
- ReadingDoctor® Online: subscription program, automated sequence, student logins, progress tracking and Dashboard access.
- Older ReadingDoctor® apps: standalone iPad activities, manually selected, with no online progress reporting.
The ReadingDoctor® Online iPad app is different again. It is the iPad way to access a ReadingDoctor® Online subscription, using the same student login details and with progress linked to the same account.
