One of the important skills that ReadingSounds 1 Pro is designed to teach children is auditory discrimination (the ability to hear the difference between sounds). The program contains very high quality audio recordings (recorded in a recording studio with a very high quality microphone). While it is possible to use the program with speakers (the higher quality, the better), it is recommended that in order to gain maximum benefit from the software, children use high quality, noise reducing headphones. Using such headphones will maximise the quality of the audio presented to the student and minimise extraneous noises thereby providing an optimal learning experience.
Do you need headphones to use ReadingDoctor? If not, would it be preferabe to use them? Print
